ByteNova Warranty & Return Policy

1. Overview

At ByteNova, every system is crafted with precision, tested for performance, and delivered with confidence.
Our goal is to ensure that your custom PC arrives in perfect condition and continues to perform at the highest level for years to come.

This policy outlines our coverage for warranty, returns, replacements, and servicing.


2. Warranty Coverage

All ByteNova PCs include warranty coverage on both labor and components:

Component Warranty

Each part inside a ByteNova PC is covered by the manufacturer’s official UAE warranty. Warranty lengths on the brand and model is typically 1 year.

ByteNova Assembly Warranty

ByteNova provides:

  • 1-Year Warranty on Assembly & Workmanship

  • Covers build-related issues, cable management faults, incorrect installation, or assembly-related instability.

What This Warranty Covers

  • Hardware defects

  • Failure of components under normal use

  • Faulty installation or mis-seated components

  • DOA (dead on arrival) components

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Physical damage after delivery

  • Damage caused by user modification, overclocking, BIOS flashing, undervolting, or tuning software

  • Liquid damage

  • Electrical damage due to unstable power, non-certified PSUs, or improper usage

  • Natural wear and tear (fans, thermal pads, etc.)

  • Software issues, viruses, OS corruption


3. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

If your PC or a component arrives defective, you must inform us within 48 hours of delivery.

You will need to provide:

  • Video of the unboxing

  • Clear footage of the issue

  • Photos of packaging and serial numbers

If verified, we will process a free repair or replacement depending on part availability.


4. Return & Refund Policy

Because every ByteNova PC is a custom-built system, we do not accept returns or refunds once the order has been assembled.

Returns are only possible in these cases:

Eligible for Return

  • Wrong product received

  • Verified DOA

  • Major manufacturing defect

Not Eligible for Return

  • Change of mind

  • System no longer needed

  • Performance not matching user expectations

  • Damage caused after delivery

  • Software or driver issues

If eligible, the product must be returned in original condition with all accessories, packaging, and serial labels intact.


5. Repairs & Servicing

If your PC requires troubleshooting, ByteNova offers:

Free Diagnosis During Warranty

We inspect and test your system to find the cause of the issue.

Repair Timeline

Repair time varies depending on:

  • Component availability

  • Manufacturer RMA processing

  • Severity of the issue

Average timelines:

  • In-house repairs: 1–5 business days

  • Manufacturer RMA: 2–6 weeks (depending on supplier)


6. Shipping & Handling

Damage During Shipping

If damage occurs during transit, the customer must notify ByteNova within 24 hours with photos and video proof.

We will coordinate repair or replacement depending on severity and insurance coverage.

Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for shipping the PC back for warranty service.

  • ByteNova covers shipping back to the customer after repair.


7. System Modifications

Any modification performed after delivery voids ByteNova’s assembly warranty, including:

  • Rebuilding the PC

  • Removing CPU cooler, GPU, motherboard

  • Changing thermal paste

  • Custom BIOS settings

  • Installing non-certified components

If you want to upgrade your PC, ByteNova provides paid upgrade services to keep warranty valid.


8. Software Warranty

ByteNova installs a fresh, activated copy of Windows, fully updated and tested.
Software warranty does not cover:

  • Corrupted OS

  • Driver issues

  • User-installed software

  • Malware, viruses, or tampering

We offer paid software repair services if required.


9. Customer Responsibilities

By purchasing from ByteNova, the customer agrees to:

  • Use a certified surge-protected power source

  • Not modify internal hardware without proper guidance

  • Avoid extreme conditions (heat, humidity, dust)

  • Keep all purchase receipts and serial numbers
